One study raised an interesting point: circadian clock-related gene expression may exist in the pituitary, and this expression is related to the expression of GH gene ( CLOCK gene and the BMAL1 gene was not high, which was consistent with the view that different parts of the circadian clock system linked to different functions as circadian oscillators ( CLOCK, PER1, PER2, CRY3, NRLD2 ) showed the difference of expression oscillation in the pituitary of GH transgenic and wild type coho salmon, which indicated that the GH gene might have a regulatory effect on the expression of pituitary clock genes
