In the past it was sometimes considered rude and antagonistic to run narrow effects like Rest in Peace or Null Rod, since that one card could shut down one players entire deck

So, we eventually asked our Creative team if they could give it a new name that'd be easier to put on a variety of cards

There are really too many cards with real world flavor text to list them all here, but I do want to point a few more of my favorites: Funny One Liners Okay, Lore is important, and real-world inspiration is great, but sometimes, you just want a good one-liner, something to chuckle about and remember

It will resolve before the spell that caused it to trigger, even if that spell has been countered or otherwise left the stack
